Marea Verde to Install New River Barrier to Trap Waste Before It Reaches Panama Bay
Marea Verde announced a new barrier on the Matías Hernández River to trap waste before it reaches Panama Bay. The group says a similar system on the Juan Díaz River kept 220,000 kilos of trash out of the bay and sea in 2025.
