Panama names youth football and futsal squads for 2026 South American Youth Games

Panama has announced the official rosters for its football and futsal teams that will represent the country at the 2026 South American Youth Games, scheduled for April 12 to 25 in Panama City. The call-ups include both men’s and women’s squads across football and futsal, marking a major moment for youth sports in the country.

The men’s under-17 football team will be led by Felipe Baloy, who takes charge of a group coming off a strong competitive run after securing qualification to the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. The squad includes Adamir Aparicio, Isaías Abuabara, Alberto Adams, Arian Reyes, Stephens Domínguez, Gian Carlos Alemán, Cristian Ibarra, Davis Wallace, Ian Carlos Centella, Joseph López, Lucas Norte, Lucio Ceballos, Alfredo Maduro, Alexander Tull, Joseph Choy, Cristian Morán, Oliver Pinzón and Thiago Chalmers.

Football Squads Set for Home Tournament

In the women’s under-17 football category, Spanish coach Gerard Aubí will guide a roster featuring Avril Potvin, Camila Aparicio, Yasselis Magallón, Julianna Alvarado, Cristabella Ríos, Guillehely Distancia, Sheris Gutiérrez, Vera Batista, Alexa Ortega, Yohanis Batista, Ana Pérez, Gabriela Rodríguez, Natalia Farberoff, Naomi Zafrani, Kelly Zapata, Shaday Mow, Maryfer De Gracia and Alisson Samudio.

Hosting the Games in Panama City gives the country’s youth sides an opportunity to compete at home in front of local fans, with the tournament serving as an important regional stage for emerging talent. For Panama, the event also highlights the depth of its youth development pipeline in a year when the men’s program is already carrying added momentum.

Futsal Teams Also Confirmed

Panama’s men’s futsal team will be coached by Alex Del Rosario, with Eliab Caicedo, Eliecer Díaz, George Campbell, Irving Castillo, Jahzeel Tenorio, Joel Saravia, Johan Quintero, Jonathan Mendoza, José Almoguea, Josué Als, Michael Mosquera, Saíd Cañizales, Víctor Carrasco and Yaasik Herrera on the roster.

On the women’s futsal side, Pablo Guerra will lead Amy Rodríguez, Andrielys Crique, Ariam Arauz, Cybelis Zúñiga, Daibellys López, Geraldine Lasprilla, Haydee Douglas, Katleen Mora, Lía Victoria Zúñiga, Nikeisha Rodríguez, Xianna Yee, Yahelys Samaniego, Yaisbely Montes and Yilianys Pérez.
