Panama’s official jobs portal posts more than 20 open positions across several provinces

What Happened

More than 20 job openings are currently listed on Empleos Panamá, the government’s digital employment portal that connects employers with people seeking work across the country.

The platform is managed by the Ministry of Labor and Labor Development and features updated vacancies for technical, administrative and professional profiles in provinces including Colón, Panamá Oeste, Chiriquí and Panamá.

Openings by Province

In Colón, available positions include a field plant line technician, aimed at candidates with studies in electricity and experience working at heights, as well as a branch manager role for professionals with a degree in administration or accounting.

Panamá Oeste has openings for an assistant laboratory technician, requiring training in chemistry, biology or microbiology, and a content and marketing coordinator for applicants with backgrounds in communication, journalism or related fields.

In Chiriquí, the portal lists a pig farm manager position for specialists in animal production, zootechnical engineering or related agricultural disciplines.

The largest number of opportunities is concentrated in the province of Panamá, where employers are seeking candidates for positions such as interior designer, AutoCAD draftsman, electrical engineer for project supervision and sales manager responsible for monitoring commercial metrics.

Other Roles Available

Additional vacancies in the province of Panamá include administrative coordinator, pest control technician, automotive mechanic, administrative assistant, branch supervisor, marketing promoter, financing and insurance analyst, warehouse assistant, receptionist or administrative assistant, and accounting assistant.

The variety of openings shows demand across both specialized technical fields and office-based positions, giving job seekers a wider range of options depending on experience, education and professional training.

How Applicants Can Apply

Interested candidates can review the listings and apply through the official Empleos Panamá website. The portal is designed to centralize job opportunities from different parts of the country and make them easier to access for people looking to enter or re-enter the labor market.

For Panama’s workforce, the platform serves as a public channel that brings together private-sector hiring needs in one place, especially in provinces where employment opportunities may be spread across different industries.
